【授業内容】
子ども達が主体的に活動できる環境を大切にし、友達と一緒に遊びを進める喜びや楽しさを味わえます。
大人では思いもつかないような想像・創造や新しい発見を通し、子どもが自ら学んでいく姿勢や力を育みます。
クラス時間内の使用言語は日本語のみとし、しっかり日本語の基礎を学びます。日本の四季折々の行事や、本読み、童謡、手遊び、工作などを通して、伝統文化や習慣などを楽しく伝承していきます。

- Schedule: Monday and Wednesday 10am-12:30pm
- Registration fee: $70(Non refundable)
- Tuition: $185/ month (Bates fee included)
- Drop-Off Tuition $245/ month (Bates fee included)
- Capacity: 10 students (Includes one Drop-Off spot)
Students enjoy playing with friends in an environment that values their independent activities. Children are very imaginative and can make new discoveries that adults may not think about, and we value the approach of children learning by themselves. Only Japanese is used during class time, and students will learn the basics of Japanese. We explore Japanese culture and customs in class through celebrating seasonal events, reading books, singing nursery rhymes with finger play, puppetry, and more.
